Delft University of Technology is the largest and oldest Dutch public technical university in the Netherlands. About 27,000 people study and work at the TU Delft campus: students, scientists, visitors, and employees of the university and the companies on campus. Its green and spacious campus, within walking distance of the historic center of Delft, is set up as a recreational park. Large parts of the campus are only accessible on foot, by bike, or by public transport.
